The customs agent is in charge of ensuring the establishment of all customs documents (Import and / or Export) and control the compliance of the elements of the declaration with regard to customs and tax regulations of Morocco

Your responsibilities will be as follows

  • Prepare customs files
  • Record and update transactions on the information system
  • Coordinate the execution of customs operations with clients
  • Communicate information to customers on a regular basis
  • Perform administrative follow-up of customs files
  • Deal with anomalies
  • Process and follow up on requests or claims
  • Carry out customs research and studies

These tasks must be carried out in strict compliance with the competition rules in force.

Qualifications

  • Must have a 2-year diploma (Bac + 2), in customs declaration techniques (preferred)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of confirmed experience as a customs agent
  • Must have a good knowledge in the elaboration of customs files, collection and customers’ needs analysis
  • Ability to detect anomalies
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must respect deadlines
  • Knowledge of the BADR computer system
